003B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice S'chaseOwing to the low elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for fences #1 and 2 to be omitted from this race
003D Lawlor's Of Naas Novice H'dleThe Stewards reviewed an incident before the bend in the straight where the runners met the running rail after the third last hurdle involving Ginto (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, Hollow Games, ridden by D.N. Russell and Whatdeawant, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, where it appeared that Hollow Games may have been tight for room at that point. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
003E INH Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dleThe Stewards enquired into possible interference from the second last hurdle to the final hurdle involving Bronn, ridden by P. Townend, placed first, and Flame Bearer, ridden by J.J. Doyle, placed third, where it appeared that Bronn landed to the right over the second last hurdle and may have interfered with Flame Bearer when going back onto his racing line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence J.J. Doyle stated that Bronn had jumped to the right while his own mount flew the hurdle to land on the inner of Bronn. He added that from that point Bronn closed the gap down to the final hurdle and did not give his mount a clear line to that hurdle. In his evidence P. Townend stated that his mount had jumped slightly right at the second last hurdle but returned to his racing line and in his opinion Flame Bearer had gone inside the racing line between the spurs while attempting to go up his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings' and took no further action.
003F Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dleR. Deegan, rider of Leish Oscars Son trained by Neil McKnight, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout.
