200D Arqana Irish EBF Marwell StakesG.M. Ryan, rider of Orinoco River (USA) trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action.
S. Foley, rider of Impeachd Alexander trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Impeachd Alexander, trained by Mrs John Harrington, was found to have blood at both nostrils post race, possibly as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
200E1 O'Neill & Co. Chartered Apprentice H'capThe Stewards interviewed N.M. Crosse, rider of Miss Jabeam, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that N. M. Crosse was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered N. M. Crosse's record in this regard The Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 10.6.a, suspended N. M. Crosse for six racedays.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Miss Jabeam trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right turning into the straight.
Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Windsor Diamond trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount never travelled and hung right in the straight.
200E2 O'Neill & Co. Chartered Apprentice H'capThe Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Liberty Star (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, Boston Rocket, ridden by Annalise Cullen, and Jazzelle, ridden by S. T. McCullagh where it appeared there was contact between the three. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
J.A. Powell, rider of Wee Jim trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.
S.T. McCullagh, rider of Jazzelle trained by Christopher David Timmons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference about a furlong and a half down.
200F Naas Racecourse H'capThe Stewards reviewed an incident about a furlong down involving Bucky Larson, ridden by C.T. Keane, Dream Tale (GB), ridden by R.P. Whelan, Fil The Power (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, and Well Suited, ridden by W.M. Lordan, where it appeared that all horses drifted right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
