The Stewards reviewed an incident at the one furlong marker involving Charlie Luciano, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced and Revkev, ridden by O.J. Having reviewed the recording of that part of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no action was warranted.

Slattery, placed first and Sosallycanwait, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fifth, where it appeared that Sosallycanwait got tight for room when racing between horses. In his evidence G.F. Carroll stated that his mount got unbalanced and could not quicken with the horses both sides of him. J.A. Heffernan stated that he challenged on the outer and corrected his mount on hearing a riders call. A.J. Slattery stated that his mount rolled very little. All riders referenced that the runners were inexperienced two year olds. Having viewed the recording of that part of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

Manning, unplaced and Our Louise, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, where it appeared that Purple Gown ran short of room when racing close to the running rail and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence K.J. Manning stated that there was room for two horses but Our Louise shifted into his path and he checked. D.P. McDonogh stated that he was clear of Our Louise when edging inwards. Siobhan Rutledge stated that she wanted to go the inner of Rhythm Of Zain and was not aware that Purple Gown was racing on her inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by Siobhan Rutledge riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Siobhan Rutledge for two racedays.

Liam McAteer, trainer of Our Louise, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was found to have a cut mouth and a cut hind fetlock post race.
