K.C. Sexton, rider of Lunch In Adare trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Barrington Court, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Stewards interviewed M.P. Fogarty, rider of Darrens Hope, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) (frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 2 race days.

The Stewards requested a report from Gordon Elliott, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Gun Digger, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that he had no real explanation for the horse's return to form other than that the race fell apart a little and the rider is perhaps a bit of value for his claim. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
041G TRI Superstore (Pro-Am) INH Flat RaceThe Stewards interviewed Mr P. Byrnes, rider of Blazing Khal, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who gave his evidence in the presence of Ian Amond. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 2 race days.
