Sam Ewing, rider of Sporting Glory, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer, Dr. Graham Adams, that D.J Gilligan, rider of Wingmen, may be in breach of Regulation 10.3(f)(the hitting of a horse with excessive force). Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who felt he had not used the whip with excessive force. Evidence was also heard from Dr. Adams. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards gave D.J. Gilligan the benefit of doubt on this occasion and took no further action.
024B Gannon's City Recovery Juvenile H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sainte Lucie (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
P. Townend, rider of Sainte Lucie (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very keen in the middle part of the race and then stopped quickly.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Binge Worthy, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
P.K. Donovan, rider of A Tipp For Gold, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action going to the hurdle away from the stands.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Whatsavailable, trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was impeeded by the loose horse in running.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Midnight It Is (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Indiana Jones (FR), trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the second fence.
Rachael Blackmore, rider of A Law Of Her Own, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount suffered accidental interference down the back straight. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Indiana Jones (FR) trained by M.F.Morris had blood at both nostrils post race.

024G Paddy Power Play Card (C&G)INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr B. O'Neill, rider of Koktail Brut (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race where he appeared to use the whip with his arm above shoulder height. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who said he was riding in close proximity to Mr. H.C. Swan and their whips got tangled on more than one occasion. He further added that in the effort to encourage his mount and avoid contact with the rider beside him his arm appeared to go over his shoulder. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards accepted the riders explanation and took no further action.
