Leopardstown 17th August 2017

The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Delegating (GB) (Off Feed) - €200

220B H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Captain Power, ridden by R.P. Downey, and Patuano, ridden by W.J. Lee, where it appeared Captain Power received interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards deemed the incident to be accidental and took no further action.

220C Happy Mondays Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from J. S. Bolger, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Mainicin, placed first, as compared with its recent form. G. Flynn, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that this mare was allowed to get her own way in front today and got the run of the race. Previously at Gowran she wasn't able to dictate the pace and ran somewhat disappointingly. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the contents of the report.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Sliver Thisle, trained by Shane Nolan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung left.

220D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

R.P. Cleary, rider of Itschessnotchekers trained by Noel Lawlor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung throughout.
