The Stewards informed Kevin Michael Smith, trainer that Nawraq, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
The Stewards informed Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer that Point Gellibrand, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Point Gellibrand trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was noted to have a cut left stifle having been withdrawn at the start on veterinary advice.
148B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dnS. Foley, rider of Golden Lyric (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left out of stalls and leaned left in running.
At the request of the Stewards, G.M. Ryan, rider of Sentiment, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount spooked from other horses in the back straight through greeness.
J.M. Sheridan, rider of Voler Mon Coeur trained by Andrew Kinirons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount fly leaped out of stalls.
148C RACE Academy Apprentice H'capJessica Maye, rider of Massa Lubrense trained by John Geoghegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.
Edward Lynam, trainer of Sister Lola, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was noted to have blood in a nostril post race
At the request of the Stewards, T.G. McCourt, trainer of Sweet Justice, placed second, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his rider M.P. Sheehy did not use his whip as instructed in this race on Sweet Justice as previous riders had suggested that this animal resented the application of the whip. .
148D Ballycorus StakesG.P. Halpin, rider of Koolasice trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jinked left out of the starting stalls.
S. Foley, rider of Real Appeal (GER) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight.
148E Leopardstown Golf Centre H'capThe Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that R.C. Colgan, rider of Noble Seal, had weighed in at 3.1lbs light. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who agreed with the facts presented by the Clerk of the Scales and added that he did not have a lead cloth in his equipment when returning to scales. A.J. Martin, trainer of Noble Seal, stated that as far as he was aware he had included the lead cloth when saddling his charge. On being informed during the enquiry that the lead cloth had subsequently been found in the saddling stalls, he accepted full responsibility for this error and also accepted that he had failed to include the lead cloth when saddling the gelding. Both R.C. Colgan and A.J. Martin identified the lead cloth when it was presented to them. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R.C. Colgan had weighed in at 3.1lbs light and disqualified Noble Seal in accordance with the provisions of Rule 231(i). The amended result now to read; First - Maralinga, Second - Never Seen Before, Third - Stop On Red, Fourth - Devious Dreamer, Fifth - San Aer.
Furthermore the Stewards were satisfied that A.J. Martin was in breach of Rule 36(iii) and Rule 148(i)and fined him €300. Dr. F. Kenny, Acting Steward absented himself from this enquiry.
S. Foley, rider of Fly Girl trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran keen during this race.
W.M. Lordan, rider of The Piano Player trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action in the straight.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that The Piano Player trained by A.P.O'Brien was stiff post race.
A.J. Slattery, rider of No Patience trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran free during this race.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Stop On Red trained by J.G.Coogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered after going a furlong and again in the straight.
M.A. Enright, rider of Flying Rock trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered after leaving the starting stalls and again in the straight.
The Stewards reviewed an incident in the straight involving Flying Rock, ridden by M.A. Enright, unplaced, Noble Seal, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed 5th but subsequently disqualified and The Casino King, ridden by M.A. Gallagher, unplaced, where it appeared that Flying Rock ran short of room. Having reviewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no action was warranted.
148F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'capW.J. Lee, rider of Maoilin (USA) trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no clear run in the straight.
148G Sandymount H'capAt the request of the Stewards, T.P. Madden, rider of Intermedia, trained by Karl Thornton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount sustained an injury at about the three furlong marker and fell independently.
L.T. McAteer, rider of Hidden Land (USA) trained by Andrew Kinirons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout this race.
148H The Leopardstown H'capS. Foley, rider of Caught In The Wild trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran blind for the first three furlongs of this race.
Annalise Cullen, rider of Munfallet trained by D P Coakley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount got no clear run in the straight.
Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Knock Flyer trained by D.J.Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount stood in the starting stalls when the gates opened.
W.M. Lordan, rider of Anfaass trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no clear run from his number one draw.
