The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Level Neverending (Off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.D. Smithers replaced G. Brouder on Hollys Honour, trained by J.G. Murray (Race 3)(Failed to present himself at scales - see enquiry).

229C Kilbeggan On Facebook M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hand Over Fist (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed G. Brouder, rider, concerning his failure to arrive on time to weigh out on Hollys Honour, trained by J.G. Murray, in this race. G. Brouder when interviewed at a later stage today, stated that he was on medication under medical supervision and failed to leave home on time. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation as they satisfied that there were extenuating circumstances for his failure to arrive on time to comply with the provisions of Rule 196 (i) but advised him concerning his responsibility for compliance with the said rule.

229E Kieran Kelly Memorial H'cap S'chase

Owing to the low elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence #1 (last fence) to be omitted from this race

K.C. Sexton, rider of Ardaghs Choice, trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ducked for the parade ring entrance path and lost considerable ground during the final circuit of this race.

229F Kilmurray's Homevalue H'cap S'chase

Owing to the low elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence #1 (last fence) to be omitted from this race

R. Deegan, rider of Dontdooddson (FR) trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running and was pulled up.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Pretty Little Liar trained by David Peter Dunne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount started to hang after completing a mile of this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dontdooddson (FR), trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.
