The Raceday Stewards interviewed John Joseph Hanlon, trainer of Man Of The House, regarding the late arrival of his charge into the Parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who stated that his horse left the stableyard with the other runners and as it approached the stands it was reluctant to pass the crowd which caused a delay in saddling the animal. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action on this occasion other than to remind the trainer of his responsibilities under Rule 32 to have his mount in the parade ring a reasonable amount of time before the signal to mount is given.

Donoghue, Pale Blue Dot (FR), ridden by D. King, Takarengo, ridden by J.B. Foley, and Themanintheboots, ridden by R. A. Doyle, where it appeared that Themaninboots got tight for room. King stated that he felt he kept a straight line on the approach to the first bend. K.M. Donoghue stated that he kept a straight line, but felt that nine horses racing side by side approaching the bend was always going to be difficult for the riders. J.B. Foley stated that he lined up on the outside and felt he had kept a straight line and had not contributed to the incident. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action on this occasion other than to advise all riders to ride with more awareness when in a similar situation in future.
