At the request of the Stewards, C.P. McNamara, rider of Sydney Blues, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green and free, was reluctant to jump and was pulled up.

343B INH Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident turning for home involving One Free Man, ridden by D.P. Holden, unplaced and Bowes Hill, ridden by I.J. Power, unplaced, where it appeared that One Free Man got tight for room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental in nature and they took no further action other than to advise I. J. Power to ride with more awareness in the future.

At the request of the Stewards, S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Mister Bells, trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was behind the bridle throughout and felt green and outpaced all the way.

At the request of the Stewards, J.J. Slevin, rider of Strong Roots, trained by R.P.Rath, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran green early on, jumped big and slow and found todays going very testing.

At the request of the Stewards, H. Morgan, rider of Tisadream, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran free early on and missed the last.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Western Fiona trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up lame behind.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Antey (GER) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got very tired.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Odds Or Evens, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal, other than to have a wound on it's left fore pastern.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Midland Millie, trained by A.L.T.Moore, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

T. Ryan, rider of Red Lemonade trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped jumping the fourth last.
