The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K. C. Sexton rode Dark Voyager (reserve) trained by Aidan Melia (Race 6)

331A Renvyle House Hotel 3-Y-O M'dn H'dle

Sam Ewing, rider of Magic Thunder (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left and got unbalanced on the hill.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident half way down the back involving Bacchanalian (GB), ridden by S. Fitzgerald, placed fourth, and Bid Up, ridden by D.J Gilligan, unplaced, where it appeared Bacchanalian caught an upright. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

331B Connolly's RED MILLS EBF Auct. Mdn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kish Bank, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

331C Corrib Oil M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Mr D. Doyle, rider of Beauforts Storm, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel early on and got a fright and she jumped sluggish and he rode her patiently to allow her recover.

331D SANSERV Rated Novice S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Little Mixup, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.M. McDonagh, rider of Little Mixup, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Philip Heenan, Authorised Representative for Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer of Little Mixup, concerning the conduct of this horse who was reluctant at the first two fences and refused at the third. Evidence was heard from Philip Heenan who stated that Little Mixup schools very well and shows no reluctance to jump at home. Having considered the matter the Raceday Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 14 suspended Little Mixup for a period of thirty days.

331E W.B. Gavin & Co. H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Shoot First, ridden by P. Byrnes, and trained by C.Byrnes. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. P. Byrnes stated that his instructions were to jump off towards the rear and get his mount into a good rhythm and come home as best he can. He added that his mount has been off a long time and had a bit of a blow turning in before running on. C. Byrnes confirmed the instructions given. He further added that his charge has been off a long time and he was satisfied with the ride. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Shoot First was coughing post. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, including the veterinary report, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations given and took no further action. Mr. Donal H. Gavin absented himself from this enquiry.

331F COLM QUINN BMW H'cap H'dle

S. Fitzgerald, rider of Beggars Rock, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise from the back of the third last.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Land Jet, trained by Peter Maher, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount weakened quickly and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Beggars Rock, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

331G Joe O'Gorman (C&G) (Pr-Am) INH Flat Race

Mr A.P. Kennedy, rider of Hei, trained by C.A.Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got a run on him down the hill and clipped a heel.

Mr J.H. Williamson, rider of Warriors Wood (GB), trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
