The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G.P. Halpin rode Mischief Maisy (reserve) , trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 7)
S. Foley replaced N.G. McCullagh on Elusive Beauty, trained by K.J. Condon (Race 3)(Stewards' Permission)

164A Follow Fairyhouse Twitter Claiming Race

G.P. Brouder, rider of Intense Starlet trained by Thomas P.O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount bolted on the way to the start.

A. Ring, rider of Jammy Guest trained by J.F. Levins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slow away.

The Stewards requested a report from J.F. Levins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Palavicini Run, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that he couldn't account for the disappointing run last time at The Curragh but that his horses have recently been running well. Having considered the report the Stewards noted its contents.

R. Coakley, rider of Boxer Dunford trained by D P Coakley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't get a clear run in the straight.

164G H'cap

The Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider, in relation to his conduct at the start where he appeared to strike his mount prior to being loaded into stalls for this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards found S. Foley in breach of Rule 272 and having taken his record into account suspended him for seven race days.

R. Coakley, rider of Caminel trained by V.C.Ward, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount tied up in the straight.
