W.J. Lee replaced R.C. Colgan on Jaas Yard, trained by Michael Butler (Race 2)(injured)
L.F. Roche replaced R.C. Colgan on Adakaz, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin (Race 4)(injured).
C.T. Keane replaced R.C. Colgan on Granville Street, trained by John Joseph Murphy (Race 6)(injured).

W.J. Lee, rider of Nibiru trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went wrong behind after two furlongs and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Nibiru, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound on its right hind medial heel.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Danmars Rogue (GB) trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls when the gates opened.

L.F. Roche, rider of Adakaz trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Harbanaker trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slowly away from the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Brokers Tip trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost one of its cheek pieces at approximately one furlong from the finish .

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Benkogambit trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

The Stewards requested a report from M.Halford, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Indigo Desert (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. M. Halford stated that he was very disappointed with Indigo Desert's previous run in the Curragh and expected the horse to run much better today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanations offered.

G.P. Brouder, rider of Brewel Hill trained by Peter McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Eco Friendly trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared up in the stalls and unseated him when the gates opened.

James J. Doyle, rider of Never Back Down trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left under pressure.

The Stewards interviewed Cillian McConnell, rider of No Trouble, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Cillian McConnell was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record, they suspended him for three racedays.

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Hayes, rider of Dreams Delivered, concerning his use of the whip in latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had used his whip with excess. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that C.D. Hayes was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

S. Foley, rider of Siofra trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't leave herself down on the surface.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Massaman, ridden by G.P. Halpin, placed first, and Dinamine, ridden by N.M. Crosse, placed second, where it appeared there was possible interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.P. Halpin stated that his mount drifted towards the paddock gate but ran straight to the line from there on. N.M. Crosse stated that he received three bumps on the run to the line which may have cost him the winning of the race. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no altercation to the judges placings and took no further action.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Dinamine trained by David Peter Dunne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried right in the straight.
