C.T. Keane, rider of Ecclesiastical (GB) trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

021C1 Follow On Twitter @DundalkStadium H'capThe Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P. L. Malone, that P.A. Harnett, rider of Must Be Dreaming, had presented himself to weigh out at two pounds overweight, none of which was declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Evidence was also heard from Matthew Tynan Jnr, authorised representative for the trainer, M. J. Tynan. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that P. A. Harnett was in breach of rule 195(i)(c) and rule 198(vii) and having considered P. A. Harnett's record in this regard the Stewards fined P. A. Harnett €150 on this occasion. Furthermore, the Stewards did not allow P. A. Harnett to take up this ride and they allowed M. J. Tynan's request to substitute P. A. Harnett with A. C. Persse.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Storm Elza, trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Sam Missile, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, unplaced, Sharjah, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, unplaced, Must Be Dreaming, ridden by A. C. Persse, placed sixth and Lunastar, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed third, where it appeared that Must Be Dreaming had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J. A. Powell was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered J. A. Powell's record in this regard the Stewards suspended J. A. Powell for one raceday.
D.E. Sheehy, rider of Sam Missile trained by Patrick J. McKenna, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight.
C.J. MacRedmond, rider of The Bank Of Dad trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.
A.J. Farragher, rider of Lady De Vesci trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount clipped a heel on the bottom bend.

Sarah Verling, rider of Lucky Crown trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount missed the break.
021F Irishinjuredjockeys.com H'capThe Stewards interviewed R. Coakley, rider of Koybig, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that R. Coakley was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered R. Coakley's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
D. McMonagle, rider of Reverberation (GB) trained by J.J.Lambe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right up the straight.
The Stewards interviewed E.J. McNamara, rider of Boasty, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that E. J. McNamara was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered E. J. McNamara's record in this regard and pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 10.6.a the Stewards suspended E. J. McNamara for six racedays.
The Stewards requested a report from Gavin Cromwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Howyoulikethat, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Gavin Cromwell stated that his charge was slowly away over seven furlongs last time out and the return to a mile and jumping much better from the gates had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation.
