The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Edward Lynam, trainer of Masalai (Declared in error) - €200

At the request of the Stewards, Kyanna Van Buuren, rider of Muraahin (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount hung badly in the home straight. She got stuck behind another runner and held her position there as she felt that she wouldn't be strong enough to hold her mount if he hung further.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Muraahin (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.F. Carroll, rider of The Highway Rat trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran free early on.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ferrybank (GB), trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

017D Crowne Plaza Hotel Apprentice M'dn

The Stewards informed Sarah Lynam, trainer, that Abeona would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards interviewed Sarah Lynam, trainer of Abeona,concerning the suitability of her charge to be ridden by an apprentice rider, S. Ewing. Sarah Lynam confirmed that S. Ewing had ridden Abeona previously both on the track and in work, and she was satisfied that her charge was reasonably manageable for an apprentice to ride. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered and reminded Sarah Lynam of her future responsibilities under Rule 153.

The Stewards enquired into the withdrawal of Wee Pablo, trained by Pat Martin, at the start of this race. Evidence was heard from Mr. J. Banahan, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. D. MacGuinness, racecourse veterinary officer, and Mr. P. Martin, trainer. Having considered all of the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Wee Pablo had been correctly withdrawn by the Starter in accordance with Rule 208. The Stewards reminded the racecourse veterinary officer of his responsibility to be positioned properly at the start of a race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Simon's Gang (GB) trained by James M. Barcoe was found to be lame on its left foreleg post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fridtjof Nansen (GB), trained by Kieran P. Cotter, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W.J. Lee, rider of Dream Tale (GB) trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Sunset Nova trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls and hung left in the straight.

017G Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'cap

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Lady Andaz trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got carried left up the straight.

017H The Find Us On Facebook @dundalkstadium H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Haayem (FR) trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly from stalls.
