The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Oliver McKiernan, trainer of Port Salalah (FR) (Off-Feed) - €200
Gerard O'Leary, trainer of True Artist (Off-Feed) - €200
J.A.Stack, trainer of Chazzesmee (Off-Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. W. O'Connor rode Dubai Clover (reserve) trained by John C. McConnell (Race 1)

012B1 Dundalk Winter Series Championship Hcap

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Millyupdahilly, trained by Peter McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung left in the straight.

L.F. Roche, rider of Coushty, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

Jessica O'Gorman, rider of Pro Bono, trained by C.W.J. Farrell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount suffered severe interference.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Gemini Man, trained by C.P.Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered bad interference four furlongs out. The Raceday stewards reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Following an objection by C.W.J. Farrell, trainer of the second placed horse Pro Bono, against the first placed horse French Company under the provisions of Rule 262(iv), the Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the home straight involving French Company, ridden by G.P. Brouder and Pro Bono, ridden by Jessica O'Gorman. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Jessica O' Gorman stated that she repeatedly suffered interference from French Company in the home straight and that it had cost her the chance of winning the race. Gearoid Brouder stated that although his mount did run around whilst in front, he had done everything he could to keep his mount straight and that no contact was made. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings,ordered the forfeit of C.W.J. Farrell's deposit and took no further action.

012B2 Dundalk Winter Series Championship Hcap

G.M. Ryan, rider of Maralinga, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right throughout.

012E1 Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay Hcp

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the furlong pole involving Numoor (GB), ridden by M.P. Sheehy, and El Valle, ridden by R. Whearty where it appeared El Valle bumped Numoor. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, M. Sheehy stated that at about the furlong pole he received a small bump from his right but it had not affected his finishing position. R Whearty stated that his mount shifted left after he had used his whip in his right hand and gave Numoor a small bump but that he quickly corrected her. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted. .

012E2 Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay Hcp

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Above It All, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount met with trouble in running.

J. Kearney, rider of I Know I Can (GB), trained by F.Birrane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right on the top bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Above It All, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, Sadiqaa, ridden by K.S. McHugh, Lexington Liberty, ridden by S.D. Bowen, and It Might Be You, ridden by N.M. Crosse where it appeared Above It All suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Rutledge stated that she suffered interference at the furlong pole, K.S. McHugh stated that his mount edged left under pressure. S.D. Bowen stated that he received pressure from his right at the furlong pole. N.M. Crosse stated that he had received pressure from his right at the furlong pole. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found K.S. McHugh, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
S.D.Bowen was accompanied by Hugh Hurley in this enquiry and K.S. McHugh was accompanied by Kevin Borthwick in this enquiry.

012F Floodlit Fridays At Dundalk Race

J. Coen, rider of Grey Daze, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled after leaving stalls.
