The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Spanish Tenor, trained by Adrian McGuinness, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Dreams Delivered trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he lost an iron in the last furlong.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Beleaguerment trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Stewards fined Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared head gear to Rip Wendy, prior to entering the parade ring.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Rip Wendy trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right a little turning in.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Indiana Grey, ridden by R. Whearty, placed first and The Bog Bank, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed sixth, where it appeared that Indiana Grey had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Whearty stated that he suffered interference when The Bog Bank crossed his racing line. J. J. G. Ryan stated that his mount drifted right and he corrected it when he heard a shout. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J. J. G. Ryan was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered J. J. G. Ryan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for one raceday. R. Whearty was accompanied at this enquiry by Michael Mulvany and J. J. G. Ryan was accompanied by Tracey Collins.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shaky Operator (USA), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Shaky Operator (USA) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and lost its action in the straight.

James J. Doyle, rider of Beau Amir trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran free.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wow, trained by Charles Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed Kieran Moody, rider of Rockonmolly, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Kieran Moody was in breach of Regulation 10.3.b, the unnecessary hitting of a horse after its chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone. Having considered Kieran Moody's record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

Sorcha Woods, rider of Persian Wolf, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that she met trouble in running close to the line.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Approbare trained by T.M. Walsh was struck into on its right hind.

D.A. McCormack, rider of Wow, trained by Charles Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount felt wrong close to the line and was eased.

G. M. Ryan, rider of Born Leader (FR) trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset and fly leapt from the stalls.

The Stewards interviewed R. Whearty, rider of Picpoul, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that R. Whearty was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered R. Whearty's record in this regard the Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 10.6.a, suspended R. Whearty for six racedays.

J.M. Moore, rider of Cliara trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.

D.N. Curran, rider of Clan Jock trained by Andrew Hughes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Spirituoso (GB) trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount clipped a heel turning in. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards interviewed D.N. Curran, rider of Clan Jock, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that D. N. Curran was in breach of Regulation 10.3.h, arm above shoulder height. Having considered D. N. Curran's record in this regard the Stewards suspended D. N. Curran for four racedays and ordered that he attend R.A.C.E for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.

A.C. Persse, rider of Swift Sonnet trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved badly in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Swift Sonnet, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Complete Fiction trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
