The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

A. Kinsella, trainer of Soineanta (Withdrawn by order of the Stewards, wore wrong headgear to the start) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.J. MacRedmond rode Strip Light (reserve) , trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 1).

The Stewards enquired into an incident soon after the turn into the straight involving Irish Poseidon (GER), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed first, Take A Turn, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, unplaced, Getaway Queen, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced and Strip Light, ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, unplaced, where it appeared that Strip Light drifted to the right causing a knock on effect of interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. At this enquiry M.P. Sheehy was accompanied by Brendan Powell and Sam Ewing was accompanied by Kevin O'Ryan. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C.J. MacRedmond had caused the incident by riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214(ii). Having taken his good previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned C.J. MacRedmond on this occasion.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Take A Turn, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Take A Turn trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mounts stride shortened one furlong out.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Tham Luang trained by Liam Lennon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Sharjah trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran flat.

The Stewards interviewed W.M. Lordan, rider of Dashing Diamond, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that W.M. Lordan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration and pursuant to the provisions of R10(6), the Stewards suspended W.M. Lordan for 6 racedays.

T.E. Whelan, rider of Volkova trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not get a clear run in the straight.

R. Coakley, rider of Munfallet trained by D P Coakley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount edged right half way up the straight.

At the request of the Stewards, O.J. Orr, rider of Sister Lola, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hanging left turning into the straight and then ducked right when he changed his whip hand.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Golden Days trained by Tracey Collins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly two furlongs from the finish.

The Stewards interviewed Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Kudbegood, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Siobhan Rutledge was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her good previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned Siobhan Rutledge on this occasion.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Golden Days, at the request of trainer, Tracey Collins, and reported the animal to be stiff post race when asked to turn.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Mirage More trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference before the first bend.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of The Copper Kid trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stood in the stalls and took fright when the gates opened.

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Wonder Elzaam, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.F. Carroll was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended G.F. Carroll for 2 racedays.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Lough Swilly Pearl trained by Gillian Scott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

The Stewards informed Ross O'Sullivan, trainer that Kush, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Mr Kiki trained by Mark L. Fagan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount travelled well in the early part of this race but stopped quickly.
