The Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Red Cymbal (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and after taking his record into account, and pursuant to Reg.10.6(a) the Stewards imposed a suspension of 6 race days on the rider.

007B Irishinjuredjockeys.com M'dn

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Coolafulaun, trained by Miss Katy Brown, as the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore they informed the trainer that Coolafulaun would be ineligible to run until the error is corrected to the satisfaction of the IHRB Veterinary Officer and any period of suspension imposed has expired.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. Andrew Tyrell, M.R.C.V.S., Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that he was unable to positively identify Mithmaar, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, from the markings contained in the passport presented for this horse. Evidence was heard from the Trainer's Authorised Representative, Mr. Philip Heenan and the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Mithmaar and referred the matter to the CEO of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board for further investigation.

007C Fundraise At Dundalk Stadium H'cap

B.M. Coen, rider of Lever Du Soleil (FR) trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right all the way.

007D Crowne Plaza Race & Stay M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Mr Mooj trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room in the home straight.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Sir Godzilla trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered leaving the stalls.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving stalls involving Highpoint Warrior (USA), ridden by W.M. Lordan, Mr Mooj, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, Sir Godzilla, ridden by R.P. Whelan, Mighty Mirage, ridden by R.P. Cleary, and Our Shakila (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, where it Sir Godzilla was hampered shortly after leaving the stalls. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards (having considered the matter under Rule 211 and Rule 214), took no further action with regard to Rule 214 but found G.F. Carroll in breach of Rule 211 (Marker Poles) and after considering his record cautioned the rider.

007G1 Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Mulzamm, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative, Mr. Philip Heenan, reported that this horse missed the break and ran very free last time, they applied cheek pieces today which may have accounted for a return to form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Iseebreeze trained by Anthony Mulholland, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left.

007G2 Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Beleaguerment, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed first, Ticks The Boxes, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, A Likely Story, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, unplaced, Crystal Dawn, ridden by A.C. Persse, unplaced and Lady Sonia, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.
