The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Eoin Doyle, trainer of Secret Sea (Ground) - €200

153A Toals Bookmakers Opportunity M'dn H'dle

C.A. Landers, rider of Justwest trained by Gary McGill, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered by the horse that slipped up.

The Stewards enquired into the fall of Roman Dylan, ridden by L.A. McKenna in the early stages of this race. L. A. McKenna reported that his mount slipped up independently. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

153B Ballyduggan M'dn H'dle

M.J. Bolger, rider of Mondragon De Barat (FR) trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hit the railings independently on the first circuit, and in the closing stages stopped quickly and pulled up.

153C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the home turn involving Shopping Around, ridden by P.J. O'Hanlon, placed sixth and Back On The Bridle, ridden by Shane Fenelon, placed fifth, where it appeared that shopping around ran short of room on the rails and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.J. O'Hanlon stated that he kept a straight line going forward from the last hurdle and a runner to his front lugged across causing him interference. S. Fenelon stated that his mount was getting tired after the final hurdle and was lugging across to the rails. Having heard a shout he put his stick down however it was too late and the interference had already occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. The Stewards were satisfied, however, that S. Fenelon was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned S. Fenelon on this occasion.

153D Vianstown Opportunity H'cap H'dle

J.C. Gainford, rider of Longacre Square, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran out approaching a hurdle.

153E Toals Bookmakers Rated Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Imperial Sachin's, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed L.P. Dempsey, rider of Clonbury Bridge, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he had used his whip excessively. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that L.P. Dempsey was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard the Stewards cautioned L.P. Dempsey on this occasion.

153F2 Virtual Live Racing H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into the fall of Novano, ridden by Shane Fitzgerald in the early stages of this race. Shane Fitzgerald reported that his mount leaned in, clipped the rail and fell independently. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards interviewed D.J. McInerney, rider of Master Cornwall, concerning his use of the whip in latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount kept responding and he lost count of his strikes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that D.J. McInerney was in breach of R10.3(g)excessive frequency and considering his record in this regard, they suspended him for 4 racedays Mr. H.T. Hynes absented himself from this enquiry and was replaced by Mr. M. Daly.

153G Ir Stall Farms EBF (M)(PA) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rigmarole, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
