The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving He's A Monster, ridden by Hollie Doyle, Killybegs Warrior, ridden by R.P. Whelan, Wahaaj, ridden by Louis Steward, and Magical Sunset, ridden by C.D. Hayes where it appeared that Magical Sunset and Wahaaj both had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Hollie Doyle stated that things got a bit tight. R. P. Whelan stated that he felt he had maintained his line. C. D. Hayes stated that he received pressure from his outside causing him to clip a heel and check. Louis Steward stated that there was a concertina effect and things got tight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards could not apportion blame to any particular rider and they took no further action.

Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

At the request of the Stewards, M.W Hassett, rider of Magic Charm, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount brushed the rails and became unbalanced shortly after the start.
