At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.M. Donoghue, rider of Aeros Luck, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen early, flattened out after turning in and had no more to give in the straight.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Chutzpal, trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jourdefete (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his left fore leg having struck into himself.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, H. Morgan, rider of Aussie Warrior, trained by Thomas R. Hughes, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen early, jumped green and was one paced in the straight.

109B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Mares) Mdn Hdl

B. Hayes, rider of Dame Rapide, trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran poorly, missed two hurdles and made a respiratory noise in running.

A. McCurtin, rider of Bothar Tara, trained by S.G.Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Twolittlegirls, trained by Garrett James Power, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was reluctant to race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dame Rapide, trained by James M. Barrett, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of being in season post race.

109C Storm The Stars Rated Novice H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into a verbal exchange between B. Hayes, rider of Double Pink, and Mr. D. Cullen, IHRB Starter, at the start of this race. Mr. Cullen stated that as he started the race Mr. Hayes verbally expressed his unhappiness about the start towards him. In his evidence, Mr Hayes stated that he felt he was following the starter's instructions while others weren't and he was unhappy about this which led to the exchange with the starter. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise the rider of the complaint mechanisms available to him should he feel he didn't get a fair start in future.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from E. J. O'Grady, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Ceroc, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that the first time application of a visor combined with a step up in trip may have contributed to an improvement today. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

109E Mallow M'dn H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Lisnagar Fortune, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled too hard.

109G Ir.Stallion Farms EBF (F) INH Flat Race

Mr J.W. Hendrick, rider of Make Sunshine, trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled very hard and didn't get home.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the straight involving Aisling's Court, ridden by Mr P.A. King, Eleanor Oliphant, ridden by Miss S. Doyle, Hopkins, ridden by Mr D. Doyle, and Lovealot Bear, ridden by Mr A.T. Feeney, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
