The Raceday Stewards informed Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Navalny, through his Authorised Representative, that a repeat performance in the behaviour of his charge, who ran loose prior to the start and was subsequently withdrawn by order of the Raceday Stewards may render the animal liable for suspension in future.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the final furlong involving Racing Royalty (GB), ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, and Emorcee, ridden by D.P. McDonogh where it appeared contact was made. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated that it was his mounts first run in blinkers and he was unable to fill a gap. D.P. McDonogh stated that his mount did move slightly right under pressure, but felt that Racing Royalty had moved left towards him at the same time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and therefore took no further action. Mr. S. McDonogh, Raceday Steward, recused himself from this enquiry.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bold As Love, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed W. McCreery, trainer of Thunder Dance (GB), in relation to the reason (Transport Difficulties) offered for the withdrawal of his charge. Evidence was heard from the trainer, who stated that the clutch went in his lorry and this caused some delay when travelling to Cork today and explained the efforts made in order to get the rest of his runners to the races. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanation offered, imposed no fine on the trainer and did not suspend Thunder Dance on this occasion.

S. Foley, rider of Glamorously, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action from one and a half furlongs out.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Moral Turpitude, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right from two furlongs out.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approaching the final furlong involving Glamorously, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Byzantine Empress (GB), ridden by W.M. Lordan, unplaced, and Neo Smart, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, where it appeared that Neo Smart ran on to heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Escaping Thejungle, trained by E. D. Delany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

121D The Buy Tickets Online H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.W. O'Connor, rider of Admiral Nelson (GB), concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. D. W. O'Connor accepted that he was in breach of R10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found D. W. O'Connor in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Admiral Nelson (GB), trained by J.F. Levins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right under pressure.

J. Coen, rider of Dutch Glory, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

121E The Blackwater Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the final furlong involving Distillate (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, and Angel's Feather, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, placed second, where it appeared they made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Adam Caffrey stated that he received some pressure from his left approaching the final furlong. S.T. McCullagh stated that it was his filly's first run in a handicap and that she rolled around under pressure. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that S.T. McCullagh in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two Racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Rumbled Again, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. J. M. Sheridan accepted he was in breach of R10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. M. Sheridan in breach of of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Golden Spangle, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

J. Kearney, rider of Net A Porter Queen, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran away on the way to the start.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Flotus Radiance, trained by Paul Power, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and hung right up the straight.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Angel's Feather, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled right under preccure.

Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Perfectlikethemoon, trained by Miss Evanna McCutcheon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount made a noise a furlong out.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the final furlong involving Coco Hill, ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, Flotus Radiance, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, unplaced, and Inthepoorhouse, ridden by O. McSweeney, unplaced, where it appeared Flotus Radiance and Inthepoorhouse made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Hartnett stated that he kept straight and was unaware of any incident. O. McSweeney stated that he moved left to take off heels and got pressure from his left. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he was running on when he received pressure from his right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and therefore took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident between the 2 and the 3 furlong markers involving Cuban Dawn, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed second, and Wayside Lady, ridden by A.J. Slattery, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Cleary stated that the horse in front of him changed legs and went left for a stride which opened a gap for him to go through. He further added that he felt slight contact as he was holding his ground. A.J. Slattery stated that he was returning to his racing line after being carried off it when Cuban Dawn came through on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Ninth Life (USA), trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right from the stalls.

B.M. Coen, rider of Lady Lunette, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was green out of the stalls and stayed on.

121G Racing Again June 16th H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of No Hassle, trained by Shane Ryder, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.
