The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Visioman (FR) (ground conditions) - €200
Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer of Mister Butler (going) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.T. Enright replaced Rachael Blackmore on Father Mattie, trained by Eric Larkin (Race 6)(injured)

386A Kilmore M'dn H'dle

B.J. Geraghty, rider of Toulson (GB) trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped badly, never travelled and was pulled up thereafter.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Follow The Storm trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left and was pulled up thereafter.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Annie Irish trained by R.Donohoe was found to have blood on both nostrils following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

386B Kilsheelan (Mares) M'dn H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Ballybrowney Walk (FR) trained by James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

386D Irish Stallion Farms EBF H'cap H'dle

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Coolmill trained by D.F. O'Shea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't travel down the hill.

386F Carrick-On-Suir H'cap H'dle

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Its Only A Dream, trained by Charles O'Brien, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.

L.P. Gilligan, rider of Courtin Bb trained by Patrick J. Duffy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Stewards requested a report from Robert Tyner, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dundeedy Lad (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that the first time application of cheek pieces appeared to help his charge concentrate and this may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards enquired into the falls on the flat of Redwood Boy, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, Tsarina Sophia, ridden by B. Hayes and Brideview Weir, ridden by R.J. Condon, turning out of the back straight. Rachael Blackmore reported that her mount appeared to fall independently bringing down both Tsarina Sophia and Brideview Weir. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
