The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.A. Doyle replaced C. Brassil on Zinat, trained by J.F. O'Shea (Race 3)(Injury)
C.J. Maher rode Realta Dawn (reserve) , trained by Peter Fahey (Race 3)
Miss A.B. O'Connor replaced L.P. Gilligan on Glan Y Gors, trained by Alan Fleming (Race 4)(Stewards' Permission, see Enquiry)

242B Racing Post (Mares) H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Pakora (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was beaten three out and never picked up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pakora (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

242C Byrne Marquees H'cap H'dle

D.J. Mullins, rider of Buffalo Blues (GB) trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

Nigel Thomas Slevin, trainer of Jensen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped abnormally post race.

242D Bar One Racing Mullacurry Cup Hcap H'dle

The Stewards received a report from W. Fleming, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that L.P. Gilligan , rider of Glan Y Gors, was presenting to weigh out at more than 3lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had accepted the ride believing that he could do the weight but had been unable to do so. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found L.P. Gilligan in breach of Rule 198 (vii) and imposed a fine of €150 on the rider.
The Stewards allowed the substitution of the L.P. Gilligan with Miss A.B. O'Connor.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Graineyhill trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

242E Bluegrass Horse Feeds M'dn H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Kolumbus trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

A. McCurtin, rider of Five Gems trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very keen, stopped quickly and pulled up.

242G Woods Financial (Ladies)(P-Am) Flat Race

Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Ogham, trained by Peter Fahey, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91.
