The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pirate Lass, trained by Richard Brabazon, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
171C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dnC.D. Maxwell, rider of Ginnos Rock trained by J.Larkin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung of the bend.
J.A. Powell, rider of Fulbright Scholar trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break.
171D Seamus Mulvaney, Crockafotha (F) H'capS. Foley, rider of Windsor Pass trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't handle the track.
Melanie Horsman, rider of Take My Hand trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount reared leaving the stalls.
171F Phil & Patsy Kierans Memorial H'capW.T. Byrne, rider of On Tick trained by W.J. Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tight coming out of the stalls.
D. McMonagle, rider of Teddy Boy trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was a little awkward from stalls.
171G1 Prizm Financial Partners, Ardee H'capP.A. Harnett, rider of Futurum Regem trained by Hugh Paul Finegan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped slowly from stalls.
James J. Doyle, rider of No Trouble trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that No Trouble trained by John C. McConnell was found to have an exercise-induced pulmonary haemorrhage post race.
171G2 Prizm Financial Partners, Ardee H'capThe Stewards interviewed R. Whearty, rider of Pretty Little Liar, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who gave his evidence in the presence of Mr. Alan Delaney. The rider accepted that he was in breach of the frequency section of the whip regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found R. Whearty in breach of Reg.10. 3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.
