The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr. A. Lord replaced Mr K.P. Healy on Ar Aghaidh, trained by Hugh Paul Finegan (Race 6) (injured).

081A Byrne Marquees M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Niigata (GB) trained by John Joseph Hanlon was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

081E Yellow Sam 50th Anniversary (QR) Hcp Hdl

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss M. Walsh, rider of Captain Porridge, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(i) (time to respond) and R10.3(g) (frequency) and having considered her record (second offence for frequency) (first offence for time to respond), they suspended her for six racedays.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend after the winning post on the second circuit involving Politicise, ridden by Mr C.A. Bowman, unplaced, Technology, ridden by Mr R. James, placed fifth, and Mellem, ridden by Mr A.P. Ryan, placed fourth, where it appeared several runners got close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

081F Pat And Eddie Smith (P-Am)INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sunset Boulevard, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

081G Bellewstown H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Conor David Maxwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dunany Point, placed first, as compared with its last run in Limerick two days ago on April 10th 2025. Conor David Maxwell stated that his charge was disappointing when held up on his previous run and that a switch to forceful tactics today seemed to have contributed to the improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
