The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Eoin Doyle, trainer of Ranger Billy (Off Feed) - €200
John Patrick Ryan, trainer of The Little Yank (Ran Recently) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr. Alan O'Sullivan rode Amazing Amy (reserve) trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan (Race 3)
Thomas Reilly rode College Causeway (reserve) trained by John C. McConnell (Race 4)
A.M. King rode Courthill (reserve) trained by Michael E Hallinan (Race 5).
E. Walsh replaced K. Callaghan on Glencourt Valley, trained by Liam P Cusack (Race 1)(Injured)

250A Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D. Moloney, rider of Tomas O Maille, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. D. Moloney accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found D. Moloney in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record in this regard they suspended him for six racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Casey West trained by P.J. Rothwell was seen to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired from D. Moloney, rider of Tomas O Maille, in relation to the fact where his whip appeared to connect with the head of Quarry Rocco when attempting to strike his mount. D. Moloney stated that as he was attempting to strike his mount the horse beside him manoeuvered close to his mount and the whip connected with its head. He added that he was mid strike when Quarry Rocco manoevered close to him and he stopped using his whip until there was room again to do so. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the riders explanation and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

250B Hollymount Nursing Home H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Samui (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the failure of J.W. Kennedy to report at scales that his mount Samui had made a noise during this race. In his evidence J.W. Kennedy said he was rushing to get changed for a light weight ride and that it was a genuine mistake on his part. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found him in breach of R.213 in that he failed to make a report in the first instance and considering his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.W. Kennedy, rider of Samui (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a noise.

250C Paddy Smyth Memorial (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Straight Home, trained by Timothy Townend, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined C'est Rien, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J. Coen, rider of Sleep Sound, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went lame and was pulled up.

250D1 On-Course Bookmakers H'cap Hdle

T.G.McCourt, trainer of Charlie Bawnie, reported to the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer that his charge Charlie Bawnie was found to have mucus in his lungs upon endoscopic examination post race.

250D2 On-Course Bookmakers H'cap Hdle

Mr Alan O'Sullivan, rider of Rewrite The Script, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount's saddle slipped during this race.

250E BoyleSports S'chase

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.P. Millar, rider of Effernock Fizz, concerning his use of the whip in final half mile of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. C.P. Millar accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found C.P. Millar was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

P. Townend, rider of Mt Leinster, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly.
