Mr. A.D. Nolan  -  “Kerri Lou”  Appeal
Curragh,  10th  June,  2006

The Appeals Body, Mr. J.R. Craigie (in the Chair), Mr. P.N. Reynolds and Mrs. T.K. Cooper, met at the Stand House Hotel, The Curragh, Co. Kildare, on Wednesday, 28th June, 2006, to consider an appeal lodged by trainer Mr. A.D. Nolan, against the decision of the Acting Stewards at the Curagh on 10th June, 2006, when the filly, “Kerri Lou” refused to go to the start of the AES Recycling Maiden Race and unseated the rider twice and was withdrawn by order of the Stewards who, following an enquiry, then imposed a suspension of sixty days on the filly.

Evidence was heard from Mr. A.D. Nolan, trainer, and Mr. L. Wyer, Stewards Secretary.  Having considered the evidence the Committee suspended the filly for fifty five days and ordered that Mr. Nolan forfeit his deposit.

The case was presented to the Committee by Mr. Brian Price of Wilkinson & Price Solicitors, Naas.
