R.Loughran replaced B.J. Cooper on My Forever Friend, trained by Thomas Cooper (Race 5)(injured)
M.P.Butler replaced D.E. Splaine on Castle Anshan, trained by Terence O'Brien (Race 3)(injured)
S.E.Butler replaced D.E. Splaine on Ronava, trained by R.A. Cotter (Race 5)(injured)
M. Darcy replaced D.E. Splaine on Wisty, trained by Edward Stanners (Race 6)(injured)

304C Martinstown Opportunity H'cap S'chase

John J. Walsh, trainer of Tellherimnothere, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst blood vessels.

304E Cashel M'dn H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from Colin Bowe, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Gold Patrol, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainers representative reported that his charge disappointed on his first start over hurdles in Downpatrick, when his yard was out of form. He added that the horse subsequently won a point to point and today returned to form in a poor race. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

304F Holycross H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Ballysassian trained by Terence O'Brien burst blood vessels.

S.G. McDermott, rider of Luck Pennie trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and hung badly in running.
