The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Eamonn Francis Gallagher, trainer of Cailean's Angel (ran recently) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.J. Cooper replaced J.W. Kennedy on Glens Finale, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 6)(Injured)

325A Thurles Beginners S'chase

At the request of the Stewards, C.P. McNamara, rider of Lily Trotter (GB), trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was reluctant to race and lacked interest until travelling down the hill for home.

P.M. Cloke, trainer of Our Lucas, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge sulked in running and was subsequently found to be post race normal when examined.

325D Two-Mile Borris H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed A. McCurtin, rider of Sullane Hill, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that A. McCurtin was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

325E Ballagh (Mares) H'cap H'dle

M.J. Bolger, rider of Karen's Gift, trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped which caused him to pull up.

325F Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dle

A. McCurtin, rider of Added Bonus trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

325G Thurles INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr M.J.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Salt Wind, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. M.J.M O'Sullivan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed Mr S. Perry, rider of Lucky Tenner, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. S. Perry was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.
