349A Killinan Beginners S'chase

A.W. Short, rider of Stander trained by Paul Stafford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stander, trained by Paul Stafford, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nostrils.

At the request of the Stewards, R.A. Doyle, rider of Abraham, trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake two out before running on past tired horses.

At the request of the Stewards, C.P. McNamara, rider of Donkey Years, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake four out before getting a second wind and running on well to the line.

349B ThurlesRaces.ie H'cap S'chase

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Ego Des Mottes (FR), trained by E. Bolger, for failing to comply with the provisions of Rule 90(i), (late to present the animal).

349C Thurles M'dn H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the last involving Gua Du Large (FR), ridden by Rachael Blackmore, and Gjoumi (FR), ridden by P. Townend, where it appeared that Gjoumi ran short of room and had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found Rachael Blackmore in breach of rule 214, in that she had ridden carelessly. Having considered Rachael Blackmore's previous clean record in this regard the Stewards suspended her for one raceday.

At the request of the Stewards, B. Hayes, rider of Clifftop (GB), trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle todays going and got very tired in the closing stages.

349F Templemore H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Molly Kaye (GB), trained by S.M.Duffy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Molly Kaye (GB) trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a mistake at the last flight on the first circuit.

349G Horse & Jockey H'cap H'dle

A. McCurtin, rider of Betterask Jj trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

The Stewards enquired into an incident turning out of the back straight on the final circuit involving Nicole's Milan, ridden by E. Walsh, Ballyshannon Rose, ridden by P.D. Kennedy and Oneknightmoreihope, ridden by S.D. Torrens. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to advise S.D. Torrens to ride with more awareness in future.
