The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

J.T.R.Dreaper, trainer of Ellie Mia (Going) - €200
I.Madden, trainer of Solar Heat (Going) - €200

177B Irish Stallion Farms EBF(Mares)Nov.H'dle

R.C. Colgan, rider of Rock Me Rosie, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly to the left and was pulled up.

177D Sean Graham Bookmakers H'cap H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Lough Roe Lady, trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount burst a blood vessel and was pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Snoqualmie Chief (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

P. Carberry, rider of Snoqualmie Chief (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hit the third last hurdle and emptied quickly.

177E Ladies Day At Sligo 7th Aug. H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into an incident at the last hurdle involving Kinneagh Cross, ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed fourth and The Two Jays, ridden by A.P. Crowe, placed first, where it appeared The Two Jays ran across the final hurdle and interfered with Kinneagh Cross on the landing side. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that A.P. Crowe had ridden carelessly and consequently severely cautioned him having taken his excellent previous record into consideration.

177F Guinness Opportunity H'cap H'dle

D.R. Fox, rider of Pennys Tune, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount cocked her jaw, whipped around at the start and refused to race.

177G Bet Online At thetote.com INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined Miss Claire Simpson, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Rosaleens Choice, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Tirauli, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Miss R. Blackmore, rider of It's Ballyvic, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount was pulled up having gone lame in running.
