347A Ladbrokes 'We Play Together' Hcap S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Da Big Fella, trained by Eamon Courtney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a right fore shoe in running but was otherwise post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Pacini (GB), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, placed fifth, Adare Beauty, ridden by S. O'Callaghan, placed sixth, and Jeaniemacaroney, ridden by M.P. Walsh, unplaced, where it appeared No Big Deal ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.W. Kennedy stated that he was angling out for a run and was not aware of Jeaniemacaroney on his outer. S. O'Callaghan stated that his mount leaned right but was corrected immediately. M.P. Walsh stated that he got tight for room when going for his gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.W. Kennedy was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards cautioned him.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Happenstance, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen through the early stages of this race.

347D Ladbrokes Play '1-2-Free' M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.M. Donoghue, rider of Tell Us This, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped novicey and ran in snatches.

347E Ladbrokes Play 'Instant Spins' Hcap Hdle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.D. Torrens, rider of Realism, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out early on and just stayed on in the closing stages past tired horses.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Morricone, trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped off handy but made a bad mistake at the second hurdle which resulted in him being farther back than he wanted. He added that after giving his mount a chance to recover from the mistake he stayed on past beaten horses in the straight.

347F Connolly's RED MILLS EBF Auct. M'dn H'dl

The Raceday Stewards granted permission for Native Speaker to run in this race without its declared tongue strap as it could not be fitted prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Charity Barnum, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

347G Ladbrokes 'Halftime Quiz' H'cap H'dle

T. Ryan, rider of Annie Beag, trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early.
