The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.A. Enright rode Even Flow (reserve) , trained by W. McCreery (Race 1)

281B Slane Nursery H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Viv Vance trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly on leaving the starting stalls.

281C Boyne Valley Apprentice H'cap

N.M. Crosse, rider of Cactus Tree trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room inside the last two furlongs.

J.A. Powell, rider of Pillar (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was short for room inside the last furlong.

S.M. Mooney, rider of It's All A Joke trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was short for room inside the last furlong.

W.J. Lee, rider of Guest trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green during this race.

281F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fearless Girl, trained by John Joseph Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Stewards, C.T. Keane, rider of Mean Fomhair, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got no run in the straight.

281G1 The Yellow Furze H'cap

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. Hugh Hynes, that J.M. Sheridan, rider of Eyeoweyou, had presented himself at scales at two pounds overweight when weighing out without having made this declaration in accordance with Rule 195(i). Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had an arrangement with his agent to always declare two pounds overweight when doing 8st 10lbs but this had not been done on this occasion. Evidence was also heard from Karl Thornton, trainer of Eyeoweyou. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed J.M. Sheridan to ride Eyeoweyou at 2lbs overweight. However, they found J.M. Sheridan to be in breach of Rule 195(i) and fined him €150 having taken his previous record into consideration.
