The Stewards informed Edward Lynam, trainer that Future Icon (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Future Icon (GB), trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of being in season.

275B Trim Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards fined Miss Natalia Lupini, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Ginger Muffin, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards interviewed D. Fitzpatrick, rider of Roryslittlesister, placed fifth, concerning his riding in the latter stages of this race, where it appeared he stopped riding when he was in fourth place for the last few strides, and was beaten a nose into fifth place.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, in the presence of S.M. Duffy, trainer.
D. Fitzpatrick stated that he thought he had achieved his best position when he had stopped riding.
Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion D. Fitzpatrick was in breach of Rule 212 in that he had failed to take all reasonable and permissable measures to obtain his best possible placing, and having taken his record into account, they suspended him for 2 racedays and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee.

Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he usually seeks permission to enter the parade ring late but he didn't do so today, and explained how this is a tricky filly who has given trouble in parade rings in the past and cannot be rushed or forced as she has planted herself in the stableyard previously also.Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found Thomas Gibney in breach of Rule 32 (ii) by failing to parade in the ring a reasonable time before the signal to mount was given and having taken his record into account the Stewards fined the trainer €130. Furthermore, they suggested that the trainer in future seek permission to enter the parade ring early and leave for the start early as an alternative to entering the parade ring late and delaying the start of racing.
