The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. P. Holden replaced M.M. McDonagh on Black Pearl Johnny, trained by Aengus King (Race 5)(Injured)

344A Irish Stallion Owners EBF M'dn H'dle

R.A. Doyle, rider of Grattan Quay trained by Eoin Griffin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered by a faller four out.

G.P. Brouder, rider of Another Opinion trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was jumped into and lost its action before being pulled up.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Night Combat trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that there were shadows at the two final flights.

344B Old Persian At Glenview Fishery Lane Hdl

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Indiana Jones (FR), trained by M.F.Morris, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

344D Brown Lad H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Barnaviddaun, ridden by D.J. Mullins, placed first and Damalisque (FR), ridden by S.D. Torrens, placed second, where it appeared that interference may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placing and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wadiyatink Now, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Barnaviddaun trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he was momentarily blinded by the low lying sun in the closing stages.

344E Rathbarry & Glenview Novice H'cap Schase

Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the two fences in the home straight to be omitted from this race.

The Stewards interviewed Mr P. Power, rider of Memory Tree, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. P. Power in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g), excessive frequency. Having considered Mr. P. Power's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. P. Power for two racedays.

344G Mongey Communications Beg. S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Commander Of Fleet, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
