065D Leopardstown Family Raceday H'cap

The Stewards received a report from P.W. Murtagh , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that L.F. Roche, rider of Gifted Lady, attempted to weigh out wearing a body protector of an unapproved pattern. Evidence was heard from the Clerk of the Scales and the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that L.F. Roche was in breach of Rule 198 (v) and suspended him for seven race days.

S. Foley, rider of Settle For Bay (FR) trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ducked slightly near the line.

065E P.W.McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Douglas Macarthur, ridden by D. O'Brien, Dubai Sand, ridden by K.J. Manning, and Rekindling (GB), ridden by W.M. Lordan, where it appeared Dubai Sand ran short of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found D. O'Brien in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.

065F Bulmers Live At Leopardstown H'cap

R.P. Whelan, rider of Seapoint trained by J.F. Levins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
