The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.M. Power replaced Rachael Blackmore on Jett, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 6)(Stewards permission)
E. Walsh replaced Rachael Blackmore on Trainwreck, trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 7)(Injured)

023A ISF EBF Paddy Mullins (Mares) H'cap Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jeremys Flame, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Drury, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ena Baie (FR), trained by Harry Fry (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Townend, rider of Drury trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Rhythm Divine trained by Thomas Gibney was found to have blood on the nose post race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the approach to the turn into the straight involving Concertista (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed third, Black Tears (GB), ridden by D.N. Russell, placed first, Emily Moon, ridden by R.M. Power, placed sixth, Spruced Up, ridden by Miss A.B. O'Connor, placed fourth, Uisce Solas, ridden by L. Quinlan, unplaced, Andalusa (FR), ridden by M.A. Enright, unplaced and Burlesque Queen, ridden by A.W. Short, unplaced, where it appeared that interference took place resulting in some of the runners having to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that interference had taken place but they were unable to contribute blame to any rider and consequently took no further action.

023B Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hdle

D.J. McInerney, rider of Never Do Nothing trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount which finished sixth stopped quickly .

023C Chanelle Pharma Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blue Sari (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.P. Walsh, rider of Blue Sari (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having stopped quickly.

023D William Fry H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cabaret Queen (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Cabaret Queen (GB) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race. .

023G Gaelic Plant Hire H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed E. Walsh, rider of Trainwreck, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence which included the IHRB Veterinary report, the Stewards were of the opinion that E. Walsh was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive force and R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended E. Walsh for 1 raceday.

The Stewards interviewed C.D. Maxwell, rider of Glamorgan Duke, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that C.D. Maxwell was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned C.D. Maxwell on this occasion.

023H Coolmore NH Sires EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Darling Daughter, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Ms L. O'Neill was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards pursuant to R10(6)(a) suspended Ms L. O'Neill for 6 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed Mr B. O'Neill, rider of Jeremys Jewel, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr B. O'Neill was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr B. O'Neill for 2 racedays.
