The Stewards requested a report from Paul O'Flynn, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Quarry Lil, placed first, as compared with her recent runs at Cork on the 2nd August and 24th July 2020. Paul O'Flynn reported that his charge had disappointed on both previous runs at Cork. Since then he trained her from the field and paired her with a companion pony. He replaced some of her training routine with swimming instead of galloping. In his opinion she became a happier animal and put on condition. He considered that these were the contributing factors to today's improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
