The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Karl Thornton, trainer of Round Tower (Coughing - Late Withdrawal) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R.C. Colgan replaced P. Carberry on Mister Hotelier, trained by C.A.Murphy (Race 2)(Injured)
M.P. Walsh replaced P. Carberry on Owen Mc, trained by Noel Meade (Race 3)(Injured)
J.J. Burke replaced P. Carberry on Glenmoreangie, trained by Noel Meade (Race 4)(Injured)
G.N. Fox replaced P. Carberry on Couleur France, trained by Noel Meade (Race 5)(Injured)
S.A. Shortall replaced P. Carberry on The Herds Garden (GB), trained by Noel Meade (Race 6)(Injured)
G.N. Fox replaced P. Carberry on Zigger Zagger, trained by Noel Meade (Race 7)(Injured)

The Stewards received a complaint from Ms Norma Butler, Racetrack Employee concerning the conduct of Mr Patrick Neville, trainer of Shesaportrait, fell, during this race.
Evidence was heard from Ms Butler and the trainer concerned, and from Mr Tom Aherne, Racetrack Employee, who witnessed the exchange.
Ms Butler explained how Shesaportrait galloped loose by her and the trainer got upset and used bad language to her complaining that she did not catch the horse.
Mr Neville accepted that he got worked up and apologised to Ms Butler for any bad language he used, and this apology was accepted by Ms Butler.
Having considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
