The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

W. McCreery, trainer of No Fear (Declared in error) - €200

061A Light Up Your Night Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards interviewed Christina Simpson, rider of Have A Great Day, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Christina Simpson was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with her arm above shoulder height and consequently suspended her for 1 raceday having taken her previous record into consideration. Furthermore, the Stewards ordered Christina Simpson to attend R.A.C.E for 1 days tuition on the correct use of the whip. Andrew Oliver trainer of Have A Great Day also attended this enquiry.

061B Easter Dining At Dundalk H'cap

J.Larkin, trainer of Smart Alec, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Monday 27th April that his charge has had a wind operation since this run.

061C Patton Stakes

L.F. Roche, rider of Sparklingsovereign (GB) trained by S. Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too free during this race.

M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Rapid Applause (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge scoped abnormally post race.

061D Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay M'dn

Prior to racing James M. Ryan, trainer of On Location (USA), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was showing signs of being in season.

T.P. Madden, rider of Mianya Return, trained by William J. Fitzpatrick, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly to the left throughout this race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined So Focussed, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame and also to be making a respiratory noise post race.

The Stewards informed Paul W. Flynn, trainer that Chatterton, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

061F Follow Us On Facebook H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Moonmeister, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
