The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

H.Rogers, trainer of Final Endeavour (Injured in transit - late withdrawal 6.29 p.m) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Karen Kenny replaced J.P. Shinnick on Camisra, trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald (Race 7)(Injured)

324A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

W.M. Lordan, rider of Bombshell, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped out of stalls slowly.

The Stewards interviewed M.C. Hussey, rider of Big Gossey, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that M.C. Hussey was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended M.C. Hussey for 3 racedays.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Slieve Bearnagh, trained by M.Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled throughout this race.

The Stewards interviewed G.P. Brouder, rider of At War, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.P. Brouder was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration and pursuant to R10(6)(a) the Stewards suspended G.P. Brouder for 6 racedays. Mr. John Tyrrell, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

324D Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay H'cap

At the request of the Stewards, C.D. Hayes, rider of Sestriere, trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran too keen.

R.P. Whelan, rider of May Remain (GB) trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered at the start and clipped a heel at halfway during this race.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Plane Tree Fairy trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left on leaving the starting stalls.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Comhghairdeas trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout this race.

324E Lengthen The Odds With BetVictor M'dn

T.E. Whelan, rider of Stockhill Star (GB) trained by Noel C. Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too keen.

The Stewards interviewed Vanessa Maye, rider of Emperor Of Fashion, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Vanessa Maye was in breach of R10(3)(b) by using her whip when her chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards severely cautioned Vanessa Maye on this occasion.

C.P. Hoban, rider of Aunty Audrey trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly to the right throughout this race.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Irish Ambassador trained by Sarah Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly from the starting stalls.

J.J.Lambe, trainer of Kashid (USA), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge burst a blood vessel during this race.
