The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

H.Rogers, trainer of Benkei (Declared in error) - €200

158B Dubai Duty Free Dash Stakes

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Tested (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Tested (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount became agitated before this race.

158C Dubai Duty Free Celebration Stakes

The Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of Shepherd's Purse (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found W.J. Lee in breach of Reg.10 by using his whip other than down the shoulder or on the hindquarters and having taken his record into account the Stewards cautioned W.J. Lee regarding his future behaviour in this regard.

158D Paddy Power H'cap

C.P. Hoban, rider of Ebasani trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action four furlongs out.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Katimavik, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

158F Dubai Duty Free Summer (Fillies) H'cap

L.F. Roche, rider of Misty Lane, trained by Reginald Roberts, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was forced to check close home.

The Stewards enquired into an incident approximately one furlong from the finish involving Slipper Orchid, ridden by S. Foley, Steip Amach, ridden by K.J. Manning, Duchess Andorra, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, and Byzantium (GB), ridden by W.M. Lordan, where it appeared Steip Amach ran short of room and was forced to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found S. Foley in breach of Rule 214 by riding carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for one race day.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sharaasa, at the request of trainer, Kevin Prendergast, and reported the animal lame on his near fore post race.

158G 150th Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby

D. K. Weld, trainer of Radanpour, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Monday 29th June that his charge was found to be lame post-race.
