R.P. Cleary, rider of Ask Dad (GB) trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lugged left 200 yards from the finish.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Maria Montez (GB) trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was unsuited by the fast going.

The Stewards received a report from Mr W. Fleming , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that G.J. Phillips , rider of Anonymous Lady , weighed in at 1.7 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had taken a drink of water after weighing out and this must have accounted for the overweight on weighing-in. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G.J. Phillips was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for two race days having taken his previous record into account.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Oor Jock trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled independently two and a half furlongs out.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Eshtiaal (USA), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, and Jocular (GB), ridden by Caroline Murtagh, where it appeared Eshtiaal ran short of room on the inner and was forced to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Aidan O'Ryan (representing G. Elliot, master of apprentice J.W. Kennedy) and J.P Murtagh (master of Caroline Murtagh). Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards cautioned Caroline Murtagh to ride with more care in future.

The Stewards requested reports from a number of jockeys regarding the unseating of D.M. Grant, rider of Waydownsouth about a furlong and a half after the start of this race. The general consensus among the riders was that Waydownsouth clipped a heal and unseated, which the stewards confirmed using the video available to them as they were unable to interview D.M. Grant due to injury.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Shalaman trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered by the fall in the early stages of this race.
