005A Kilsheelan (Mares) M'dn H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Enola (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

005B Monroe M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend passing the stands involving Run For Harry, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, and Shuil Na Tra, ridden by R.P. Geoghegan, where it appeared that Run For Harry clipped a heel. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Surf Club, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Run For Harry, trained by Mrs Gillian Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel going into the turn past the stand.

005C Munster H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P. Townend, rider of Quai De Bourbon (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that in slow motion it appeared he may have been in breach of R.10. Having viewed a recording of the race and having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found P. Townend, in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his record, they suspended him for two racedays.

005E Tipperary H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend turning out of the back straight involving Sea Road Fill, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe and Moonlight Getaway, ridden by P.T. Enright and Little Token ridden by M.P. O'Connor, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

005F Jossestown H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards fined Gavin Cromwell, trainer €65 for failure to fit declared cheek pieces to Money Heist prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jump The Shark, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

005G Rathronan M'dn Hunters S'chase

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. O'Connor, rider of Dromleigh, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of R.10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr M.J. O'Connor in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his record, they suspended him for four racedays.
