The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.W. Kennedy replaced D.J Gilligan on Gers Gigi, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 5)(intended mount a non runner).
C. Stone-Walsh replaced G. Brouder on Polly Poppins, trained by Bernard Martin Crowley (Race 2)(stood down).
P.T. Enright replaced G. Brouder on Mr Saxobeat, trained by Thomas Gibney (Race 6)(stood down).
H.E. Sexton rode Spanish John (reserve) trained by P.A.Fahy (Race 3).
Mr. P. Breen replaced Ms S.K. Breen on Lord Lackendarra, trained by Patrick Breen (Race 8)(unwell).

182B2 Clearwater Construction H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Brendan Oliver Walsh, trainer of Menas Miracle, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Veterinary Officer in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aussie Warrior, trained by Thomas R. Hughes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were also taken for further analysis.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Onebrightbluerose, placed second, weighed in at 156.5lbs having weighed out at 158lbs, meaning he was 1.5lbs light. Evidence was heard from Patrick Cronin trainer, who stated that when saddling his charge, he forgot to add the weight cloth which he then found in the saddling box following the race. Evidence was also heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he weighed out with the correct equipment and was unaware that his weight cloth was missing when weighing in. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards disqualified Onebrightbluerose in accordance with the provisions of Rule 231(i) (weighed in more than 1lbs light) and amended result is as follows:
1st - Menas Miracle
2nd - Hatfield Hammer
3rd - Spanish John
4th - Pleasureofpressure
5th - Special Protector.

Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards found trainer Patrick Cronin to be in breach of Rule 148(i)(a trainer shall be responsible for everything connected with the welfare, training and running of all Horses under their care). Having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards fined him €500.

182C Thomas Donovan Construction M'dn H'dle

C.M. Quirke, rider of Christy's Chief, trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame after the race.

Daniel William O'Sullivan, trainer of Jetovango, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge lost a front shoe in running.

182G Omnipro INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend turning into the home straight involving Ozark's Walk, ridden by Mr B. Barry, placed fourth, Soldiers World, ridden by Mr D.L. Queally, placed first, and The Cistercian, ridden by Mr J.P. O'Rourke, placed sixth, where it appeared things became tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr B. Barry, rider of Ozark's Walk, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that he was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr B. Barry for three racedays.

Mr B. Dunleavy, rider of I Give Theorders, trained by Mary Ellen Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessil. The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined I Give Theorders and confirmed the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

Mr D. McGill, rider of Osborne Park, trained by Peter Buchanan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
