The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Paul W. Flynn, trainer of Serotonin (GB), for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two and a half furlongs out involving Figaruso, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed first, and Pachmena, ridden by R. Whearty, placed third, where it appeared R. Whearty had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Whearty stated that he was in the gap and had to take a check as Figaruso edged back across to the rail. M.P. Sheehy stated that his mount ran off the bend and he gradually brought him back towards the rail and was unaware of Pachmena on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M.P. Sheehy was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
186B Tote.ie M'dnS. O'Callaghan, rider of Friary Road, trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the home bend the second time.
186C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'capThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately four furlongs from home, where it appeared La Dame Blanche, ridden by R.M Mulligan briefly ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
D. McMonagle, rider of Oriole (GB), trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
186D Racing TV H'capR.M Mulligan, rider of Out On Friday, trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the first bend.
Nicola Burns, rider of Gotta Catch'em All, trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ran off the bend.
M.W Hassett, rider of Quare Fast, trained by Kieran Purcell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the first bend involving Out On Friday, ridden by R.M Mulligan, placed fourth, and Gotta Catch'em All, ridden by Nicola Burns, placed fifth, where it appeared the two horses ran off the bend. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.M. Mulligan stated that he was carried off the bend and clipped a heel. Nicola Burns stated that her mount didn't handle the track and ran off the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
186E Tote Tramore Derby H'capM.P. Sheehy, rider of You Played Well, trained by Kieran Purcell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
K.J. Leonard, rider of Winged Victory, trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reacted awkwardly to the horse inside him about four furlongs from home. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
186G Racing TV Free Trial Now H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Duke Otto, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
