The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

John C. McConnell, trainer of Indignation (FR) (Late withdrawal ) - €200.
James Daniel Dullea, trainer of Master Cornwall (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M. P. O'Connor replaced Mr P. Power on Memory Tree, trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 6)(Admin Error)
Miss F. Fox rode Dantes Glory (reserve) , trained by Philip Fenton (Race 7)
Mr. F. Maguire rode Flamesofglory (reserve) , trained by J.R. Barry (Race 7)

140A Visit West Waterford M'dn H'dle

D.P. Maxwell, rider of Seamus Darby trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Seamus Darby trained by Matthew J. Smith was found to have blood from both nostrels post race as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

140B Comeragh Wildlife Park H'cap H'dle

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Eaton Lady trained by Miss Kate McGivern, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount ran keen early.

The Stewards requested a report from Paul Nolan, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Dympnas Well (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Paul Nolan reported that a combination of a first run in a tongue tie, better ground and a drop in trip brought about an improvement in his charges form today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

140C Copper Coast M'dn H'dle

P.T. Enright, rider of Over Milk Wood (GB) trained by Olivia Hegarty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Stewards interviewed H. Morgan, rider of Oryx Hustler, trained by Henry de Bromhead, concerning the use of his whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that H. Morgan was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard,the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

140D Tramore Farmers Market H'cap H'dle

Mr A.P. Fahey, rider of Diggin Deep trained by P.G. Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got very tired and pulled up.

The Stewards interviewed I.J. McCarthy, rider of Yulong Voice (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that I.J. McCarthy was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Magic Piper, trained by Thomas Gibney, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

140G Ir. Stall. Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Presentingnewyork, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.

Mr. F. Maguire, rider of Flamesofglory trained by J.R. Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount whipped around at the start and was left behind.
