The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Inviction (Off feed) - €200
Emmet Mullins, trainer of Pilbara (GB) (Ground) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. E. Mullins rode Abunchofmemories (reserve), trained by Ms Margaret Mullins (Race 1)
Miss. M. O'Sullivan rode Earths Furies (reserve), trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan (Race 2)
D. E. Mullins rode April's Moon (reserve) , trained by Declan Queally (Race 2)
Ms. J. Townend replaced Mr P.W. Mullins on Golden Bidar, trained by Anthony Mullins (Race 6)(Rider administration error).
Mr. F. Maguire replaced Mr P.W. Mullins on Thelasthighking, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper (Race 7)(Rider administration error).

101A Hotel Minella (Mares) M'dn H'dle

B. Hayes, rider of Gerry's Dream trained by Philip Fenton, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

E. Walsh, rider of Judy's Girl trained by Ms. M.M. Gannon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung turning in.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Runaway Gun trained by L.J.Archdeacon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

101B Ryans Cleaning Event Specialists Hcp Hdl

S.D. Torrens, rider of Therellalwaysbeone trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout.

101D Berkshire @ Kedrah House Stud Beg. S'ch

At the request of the Stewards, D.F. O'Regan, rider of Rocconrockall, trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the break, was very negative and was pulled up.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Friary Rock (FR) trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran around at the third and fourth fences.

101E Glenview And Rathbarry Hunters S'chase

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Ajijic, ridden by Mr M.J. O'Connor, placed fourth and Roundstone, ridden by Miss L. Costello, placed third, where it appeared that Roundstone drifted across to the stand side running rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

101G p2p.ie (C & G) Pt-To-Pt INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Chicago Time, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. J. C. Barry was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Mr. J. C. Barry's record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for one raceday.
